Although it feels like a great weight has been lifted off my chest, I am still overshadowed by a sense of wondering. Did I make the right choice or did I give up too easily? Could I have fought for it longer? Or maybe the fact that I didn't have the will to fight for it simply proves that it just wasn't the thing for me? I can't help but think that my thoughts of what I want to do with my life have changed over the years. On the other hand, the thought of never gaining my independence and staying close to "Headquarters" (I mean this city as a whole) still suffocates me, so I guess it's not as if I've given up all hope completely.

This time of afternoon is always a bit sad and empty yet I am not sure what I keep relating it to. It makes me want to do a relaxing activity and drink tea. Maybe it's the period of time when I've just come home from school and being the nerd I am have lunch while playing my video game-of-the-moment. yet, after playing MMOs for as long as I have, the sheer thought of returning to console games seems plain lonely! Yet, I've been wanting to play Shadow of the Colossus but I just can't find it... where could it be? =/

Pics of the moment: Poupeegirl made me nostalgic towards Bonne Bell Lip Smackers. I currently use the watermelon one a lot and carry it in my purse because it makes me think of summer. When I was a kid and first learned to swim, my mother used to get us this sunblock from The Body Shop and it smelled like watermelons... so watermelon scented stuff will always be associated with old summer mornings and cooling up in a pool =)

Poupeegirl also influenced my Sweet Shoppe lip glosses purchase. Aren't they just cute? As for the victoria's secret fragrances, I like mini fragrance bottles because I have low-tolerance for normal size bottles. I was so happy to see that gift set at Debenhams.

Hope in a jar is such a good name for a moisturizer. Using that tiny purse one day made me realize how much easier it is to carry smaller purses, so now I try to do it more often. I was happy Apple Bottoms finally opened here, their tags are cute. My friend gave me a set of The Beat stuff from Burberry a few months ago and I started using them now. I like them a lot but I'm not sure if the scent suits me. Or rather, my constant problem of most fragrances or perfumed lotions smelling really weird when in contact with my skin.

I'm sure ai_chyan and betsuni remember this. When we were trying this rose scented fragrance that day, it smelled really weird on my wrist! It might have showed some form of the scent of roses, but there was something else powdery in it. It was such a light fragrance, though, which is why it wasn't as disgusting as that other perfume that smells gross on me.
